Hamilton City Council’s Single-Year Community Grants application period closes on Friday 1 March at 5pm.
The annual grant fund is $308,000, with grants capped at $8000 per application.
The Single-Year Community Grants will fund organisations for operating and administrative costs, development and implementation of community focussed programmes, and equipment or resources to help organisations in their work across the city and in our communities.
In assessing grant applications, the panel gives priority to the number of volunteer hours and in-kind donations contributed to an organisation. Preference will be given to organisations with an annual total income less than $500,000.
Applications are assessed by a panel through March, and in April the panel convenes to make final decisions on how grants are distributed.
