Hamilton City Council contractors will be pruning trees along a section of the river path from Ferrybank to the central city jetty on Thursday (9 July).
The path will remain open during most of the work but will be closed for short periods when debris is dropped. Signage will be in place to warn path users.
The work will take place between 8am and 4pm. It will enable contractors to move machinery and gear into the area more easily when repairs to the riverbank wall get underway later this year.
