Claudelands celebrates return of arena events with L.A.B

Hamilton is set for the return of live events, with one of New Zealand’s hottest acts kicking things off on a high note at Claudelands Arena.

Hot off the back of yesterday’s announcement that the country was moving to Alert Level 1, New Zealand chart-toppers L.A.B celebrated by bringing forward its sold-out Claudelands Arena show originally scheduled for November to Saturday, 11 July 2020.

The show will be the first event in Claudelands Arena in over three months and will serve as L.A.B’s largest headline performance to date.

Sean Murray, Hamilton City Council General Manager of Venues, Tourism and Major Events, says the concert will be the perfect way to welcome events back to Claudelands Arena.

“We are excited to reopen our doors to crowds once again – and what better way to kick things off than with one of the country’s hottest bands. The fact tickets got snapped up so quickly reflects L.A.B’s huge popularity and also shows that people have a real appetite for live New Zealand entertainment like this,” he says.

With a double platinum-selling number one single and over 20 weeks of dominating the radio charts, L.A.B will entertain fans at the show with tracks from their ever-expanding back catalogue.

As the original performance was sold out, ticket holders are encouraged to hold onto their tickets, as all issued tickets remain valid. All tickets initially issued through Eventfinda for The Factory and through Ticketek for Claudelands Arena also remain valid. Those who are no longer able to make this new date can get in touch with the relevant ticketing companies to arrange a refund.
