Fallen gum tree closes part of Western Rail Trail

One of our skilled aborists at work | Hamilton City Council

A section of the Western Rail Trail just past the Gallagher Hockey Centre in Frankton will be closed on Thursday 25 June and Friday 26 June while Hamilton City Council contractors clear a fallen gum tree.

The arborists will also crown reduce the other trees in the stand so they are shorter and less vulnerable. Trail users are advised to detour around Lake Rotoroa.
