The future of transport along the Hukanui and Peachgrove roads transport corridor is to be discussed at a series of workshops starting later this month.
Hamilton City Council’s 10-year plan has budgeted $20 million over four years to help make these roads safer and easier to use for all people.
It’s part of a broader strategy to encourage alternative transport modes across the city.
The Council is hosting three workshops to get a better understanding of how local people use Hukanui and Peachgrove roads and what changes might make them better for all users.
Places at the workshops are limited so pre-registrations are essential. For more information on the workshops and registration email katherine.johns@hcc.govt.nz or phone Katherine on 07 838 6991.
The workshop dates and times are:
- Tuesday 27 November, 9.30am – 11:00am
- Wednesday 28 November, 7pm – 8.30pm
- Saturday 1 December, 10.30am – noon.
