One-day closure for section of Hamilton Lake Domain path

Lake Domain Path Closure | Detour via Lake Cres

A section of the path and boardwalk around Hamilton Lake Domain will be closed tomorrow to allow for the removal of felled trees.

The section to be closed is on the southwestern side of the lake, near the Hamilton Yacht Club building. Path users will need to detour via Lake Cres, and rejoin the path via the accessway between 64a and 68 Lake Cres (the path accessway connects Lake Cres with the boardwalk around Lake Rotoroa).

The closure will be in effect from 8am until 4pm – although staff in Hamilton City Council’s Parks and Recreation Unit are hopeful the work will be concluded earlier than scheduled.

The Council apologises for the inconvenience while this work is undertaken.
