Overnight resurfacing for Te Rapa Rd southbound

Night resurfacing of a Hamilton road

Road resurfacing work will be carried out over three nights from Sunday 7 October to Tuesday 9 October on a southbound section of Te Rapa Rd, from Vardon Rd to outside #156 Te Rapa Rd.

The work, which is weather dependent, will be in the left lane from 7pm to 6am each night. It is part of Hamilton City Council’s ongoing programme to ensure the city’s roads are well maintained.

For safety reasons traffic management and a reduced speed limit will be in place.

Residents will still have access to their property, however there may be some short delays at times to fit around work patterns. Some noise is expected, but the team will be doing its best to carry out the noisiest work in the early part of the shift.

The Council thanks residents and road users in advance for their care, patience and understanding.
